Prerequisites: CVT 1000C and CVT 1260C and CVT 1800L and CVT 1270C
Corequisites: CVT 1801L and CVT 1610C
This course includes the action, dosage, uses and precautions for the antiarrhythmic drugs, invasive and non-invasive procedural medications, diuretics, as well as medications commonly used in the event of a cardiac arrest. Roles and responsibilities in cardiac arrest and the common denominators of all defibrillators, procedures for defibrillation and factors which determine success.
