CVT1000C - Introduction to Cardiovascular Technology

This course is an overview of the cardiovascular technologist profession including basic skills and terminology related to historical development, current profession trends, infection control, asepsis, and basic cardiopulmonary patient assessment tools using electrocardiography, chest x-ray, and clinical laboratory tests, including blood gas analysis and concepts related to oxygenation and ventilation.
