CVT1260C - Cardiopulmonary Anatomy and Physiology Credits: 4 Corequisites: CVT 1000C and CVT 1800L This course includes adult, fetal, and newborn cardiopulmonary anatomy and physiology in detail as it applies to the cardiac catheterization lab. Application also includes, cardiac electrophysiology including ECG, dysrhythmias, and other hemodynamic calculations required in cardiopulmonary physiology. This course will include an introduction to pre/post catheterization care, sterile and aseptic concepts and an introduction to basic catheterization equipment and concepts related to their maintenance and function.
