NUR4950 - Baccalaureate Capstone Course Credits: 4 Prerequisites: NUR 3825 Corequisites: NUR 3066C and NUR 3846 and NUR 4165 and NUR 4636C and NUR 4667 and NUR 4776 and NUR 4827 and NUR 4837 The capstone course will focus on current healthcare trends and issues related to professional nursing practice, nursing research, service learning, and professional development. Students will have the opportunity to synthesize their learning experiences throughout the nursing program to demonstrate personal professional growth and a commitment to professional development. This course will highlight all the professional endeavors of the student’s past and present academic and work achievements. This course will assist the student in meeting the program goal of “human flourishing” by engaging in activities that contribute to the promotion of optimal health and wellness across a variety of health care settings. The student will reflect on meaning and application of course material demonstrating professional advancement, personal and professional development for promoting health.
