RET2283 - Introduction to Mechanical Ventilation

Corequisites: RET 2283L
This course is designed to introduce students to advanced therapeutic theory involved in the delivery of intensive respiratory care. The course will provide the student with knowledge essential to performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation, airway management including intubation and trach care, and mechanical ventilation effectively and safely. The student will also understand equipment used in the care for the critically ill patient.
