SON1111L - Abdominal Sonography I Lab

Corequisites: SON 1111  
This course provides a laboratory environment for the students to work with ultrasound equipment to develop the skills necessary to perform abdominal exams and superficial structures. Students will practice scanning techniques, exam protocols, image optimization, patient positioning, write technical impressions, learn sonographic terminology, anatomical landmarks and demonstrate their scanning skills necessary for completing various exams for abdominal organs and superficial structures.
