STS2324 - Surgical Procedures II

Prerequisites: STS 1302  and STS 1307  and STS 1308  and STS 1327C  and STS 1340  
Corequisites: STS 2944  
A continuation of STS 2323 , this course further prepares students for surgical procedures including the review of surgical anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, relevant equipment, supplies and techniques regarding cardiothoracic surgery, endoscopic surgery, general surgery, genitourinary surgery, neurological surgery, obstetrics/gynecological surgery, ophthalmic surgery, oral/maxillofacial surgery, otorhinolaryngological surgery (ear, nose and throat), orthopedic surgery, peripheral vascular surgery, plastic surgery and diagnostic procedures.
