DEH1003 - Fundamentals of Dental Hygiene and Instrumentation

Credits: 1
Prerequisites: DEH 1000  and DES 1800  and DES 1806L  
Corequisites: DEH 1003L  
This course is designed to provide the student with knowledge of the basic principles of instrument design and instrumentation in the oral cavity. Continued study of dental deposits; introduction of prevention of dental caries and periodontal disease. The dental hygiene care plan, evaluation, and documentation will be discussed.
