GRA2100 - Introduction to Graphic Design Credits: 3 Corequisites: DIG 2000 This course emphasizes use of computers in creating graphic design artwork, including rendering, layout, use of typography, and demonstrating the computer as a graphic production and image-creation tool. Students will design graphic visual communication products such as flyers, advertisements, logos, icons, etc. The use of raster-based image editing programs such as Photoshop, vector-based drawing tools such as Illustrator, page layout applications such as InDesign (and other software applications as industry standards change over time) will be explored.
