FFP2111 - Fire Chemistry Credits: 3 This course is designed to show the different features and forms of matter and energy, common substance, and how they relate to fires. The chemical formulae of flammable and combustible substance, their bonding and separations, as well as the different chemical reactions related to fire and oxidation are covered. Particular emphasis is placed on the specific substances to ignite and accelerate burnings. This course may require work to be done prior to and/ or following attendance at the course.
