An introduction to metal, industrial practices and procedures, various testing techniques, arc welding in the flat position, and using various thicknesses of metal. Includes structure of the welding program and history of welding with emphasis on shop safety, welding safety, and oxyacetylene safety. Course also covers blueprint reading for welders.
