RTE1503 - Radiographic Procedures I Credits: 3 Prerequisites: BSC 2085 and BSC 2085L Corequisites: RTE 1503L Content is designed to provide the knowledge and skills necessary to perform standard radiographic imaging procedures. Consideration is given to the evaluation of optimal diagnostic images. An in-depth discussion of radiographic procedures, including the abdomino-thoracic and appendicular skeleton, is the focus of this course. Anatomy, patient care, and terminology are correlated with radiographic procedures and safety. Appropriate methodologies regarding patient identification, clinical profiles, nomenclature, universal precautions, and radiographic critique/quality are presented.
