Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant

The FSEOG is a need-based federal grant offered to students seeking an undergraduate degree in an eligible program who have exceptional financial need, enroll in at least six fundable credit hours and are eligible for Federal Pell grants. Limited funding is available in this program, and funding is offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Initial aid offered is estimated based on the results of the FAFSA. Estimates may change if any criteria used to determine eligibility, such as program of study or area of interest, fundable coursework, degree status, satisfactory academic progress, income or family contribution changes. Actual payment will be determined based on enrollment at the census date (please see the Definition of Census Date for clarification) listed in the College Calendar .
The amount actually paid to the student from the FSEOG will be prorated if the student enrolls for three-quarter time or half time in a given semester. The student must begin attending all classes before disbursement of any funds are made. If attendance is not confirmed for one or more classes, the aid offer will be adjusted to the enrollment level of the fundable credit hours that have been confirmed or nullified.
