What CF Advisors Can Offer You:

To determine which advisor you should meet with, go to the Academics tab in your MyCF portal.

All students are required to meet with their assigned academic advisor upon admission or readmission. Each student at CF is assigned educational advisor who is there to answer any questions you might have about your academic pathway and other guidance on class schedules, electives, transfer credits, graduation and more. In addition, Associate in Arts students are required to meet with their assigned educational advisor upon the completion of 30 college credit hours.

First-Year Student Advising

  • First Time in College (FTIC) Students StartSmart@CF by attending an in-person Orientation Session.
  • At orientation, you will meet with your assigned Educational Advisor.
  • After orientation, continue to meet with your assigned advisor for services such as career exploration, pathway guidance and future term registration.   You may make an appointment with your assigned advisor using Calendly or by calling the Advising Center.
  • We offer appointments in-person, by phone, or via Zoom.

Educational Advisors

Ocala Campus

  • Advisors are located in the Advising Center (Bryant Student Union, Room 201)
  • Make an appointment with your assigned educational advisor using Calendly, or by calling the Advising Center.
  • We offer appointments in-person, by phone, or via Zoom.
  • Visit the Academics tab on your myCF portal to find your advisor information.

Wilton Simpson Citrus Campus

  • Citrus Advisors are located in the Citrus Learning and Conference Center
  • Make an appointment by calling or emailing your advisor or by using Calendly.  
  • We offer appointments in-person, by phone or via Zoom.  

Jack Wilkinson Levy Campus

  • Levy Campus Advisors are located in Enrollment Services
  • Make an appointment by calling or emailing your advisor or by using Calendly.
  • We offer appointments in-person, by phone or via Zoom.

Eadvise

  • Online advising service (response time may be longer during peak times) for prospective or current students
  • Quick questions or concerns that would not require an in-person appointment

  • Full academic plans, degree audits and graduation checks cannot be provided through this service
