The Associate in Science in Computer Information Technology program at the College of Central Florida prepares students for diverse computer-related careers in business, industry, and government. The program provides students with essential technical skills and the opportunity to earn industry-recognized certifications, including MOS Excel, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Cloud+, and CompTIA Security+, enhancing both technical expertise and employability.
Students can customize their studies to match their career goals by selecting electives from three specialized pathway tracks: Support Technician, Computer Programming, or Network Security. These tracks allow students to earn additional College Credit Certificates, such as the Computer Programming Specialist or Network Security certificates. Other CCCs available within the program include:
- Computer Information Data Specialist
- Information Technology Support Specialist
- Help Desk Support Technician
- Information Technology Analysis
For students considering the Management Information Systems track of the Bachelor of Applied Science in Business and Organizational Management program, some core courses within the A.S. degree are designed to transfer and fulfill prerequisites for upper-level coursework.
