AGR2045 - Tropical and Subtropical Agronomy

This course examines the principles of tropical and subtropical agronomy with a focus on Florida’s unique climate, soils, and cropping systems. Students will explore the production, management, and sustainability of key Florida crops, including citrus, sugarcane, tropical fruits, vegetables, and forages, while addressing soil health, climate adaptation, pest management, and water conservation strategies.
