CVT2845L - Cardiovascular Invasive Practicum III

Credits: 4
Prerequisites: CVT 2421C   and CVT 2441C   and CVT 2841L  
Corequisites: CVT 2427C   and CVT 2920  
This course is designed to give the students simulated and clinical experience performing patient care and procedural skills in the cardiac catheterization laboratories. The student receives extensive hands-on experience and observation utilizing equipment, performing all tests and providing patient care. Clinical rotations will be focused in peripheral catheterization.  The student will complete weekly clinical shifts during the week at one of our clinical affiliate sites.
