Students will be introduced to basic acting techniques and skills, including exercises in characterization, relaxation and concentration, verbal and nonverbal communication, and expression. Students will enrich their knowledge and performance canon, with eventual performance of monologues or scene work from plays/film in the Western canon from the 20th or 21st century.
