College of Central Florida Testing Center

The College of Central Florida provides comprehensive testing and assessment services to CF students, students from other institutions, local residents, area employers, and agencies. Testing is available at the Ocala Campus, the Wilton Simpson Citrus Campus, and the Jack Wilkinson Levy Campus.

CF Testing Center services support college placement and exit requirements, skills assessment and development, classroom performance (including makeup exams for online and hybrid courses), and academic achievement. Additionally, the CF Testing Center offers cognitive skills and aptitude testing for employers to support employee selection and promotion.

Testing services are also provided for:

High school students
Students from other colleges and universities
Individuals in specialized populations such as law enforcement, corrections, healthcare, and those with disabilities
Candidates pursuing computer-related and industry certifications
Individuals seeking career assessments

Commonly administered exams include:

PERT (Postsecondary Education Readiness Test) and ACCUPLACER Next Generation - College placement
TABE - (Test of Adult Basic education) Entry into vocational programs
TEAS - (Test of Essential Academic Skills) Nursing and Allied Health programs
Wonderlic -(Contemporary Cognitive Ability Test) Programs in Physical Therapist Assistant, Radiography, Surgical Services, and Corrections
DANTES (Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education) and CLEP (College Level Examination Program) - Course credit by exam
CJBAT - Law enforcement and corrections (required in Florida)
Occupational and aptitude tests, intelligence tests, and other specialized assessments such as:
- Personality, adjustment, and development tests
- Learning and achievement measures
- Mental ability and life stressor inventories
- Visual perception tests
- IC3, (Internet and Computing Core certification) MOS, (Microsoft Office Specialist) and various industry certifications

The Ocala Campus Testing Center is located in the Bryant Student Union, Room 205, 352-291-4419; the Citrus Campus Testing Center is located in the Charles S. Dean Sr. Educational Center, Room 109, 352-249-1213; the Levy Campus Testing Center is located in Room 108, 352-658-4077. Appointments for all locations can be scheduled at www.cf.edu/testing.
